- ALLISTER EVERSON -he/him they/them11 years old4'11"—–OVERVIEW.Allister is the timid ghost-type gym leader of Galar . he is quiet and anxious, his biggest fear being other people . he has a strange connection with ghosts, and can even communicate with them fluently . despite his shy nature, he is a young prodigy when it comes to pokemon battles which got him the title of gym leader at the age of eleven . he could easily be seen as creepy, but those who know him know that he is a kind and gentle boy who still partakes in a bit of mischief from time to time in the form of scaring people . no matter what, he strives to take care of his gym, pokemon, battle opponents, and friends .—–BACKSTORY.// cw : mentions of child injury, death, and near-death experiences .Allister was born in Galar, given up shortly after his birth by his biological parents . He was placed into the care of a children’s home, which attempted many times to get him adopted, but was never successful . Even from a very young age, he was considered strange . He crept around, was eerily quiet, and enjoyed things that scared the other children . On top of this, he was extremely antisocial and shy, so he was either getting picked on by the other kids, or was avoiding the other kids . He always loved the nighttime and disliked the day, often disappearing when the sun went down and returning when daylight broke . He’d often go to ruins or graveyards when he snuck out, despite his caretaker’s best attempts to keep him at the children’s home .At age four, Allister suffered an accident that would change his life . On one of his adventures to the graveyard, a pokemon he had never seen before entered the graveyard . Allister never really found out why it decided to attack him, perhaps it was mistreated or confused . Either way, Allister had to avoid it lest he get injured by its rampage . While running from the pokemon, he fell into an open grave, hitting his head and losing consciousness . The events of the next few minutes are lost to him, but he does know that he went through a near-death experience, only saved by the ghost-type pokemon of the graveyard who rescued him .Upon waking, Allister met a trio of Gastly, all willing to help him escape the half-dug grave . He found it odd, but he could understand them perfectly, as if they were speaking like a person . They seemed to understand him perfectly in return . He’d never been able to communicate so easily with ghosts before this point, and looking back, Allister assumes that the ability originated during the time he was unconscious . After escaping the grave, the three Gastly followed Allister all the way back to the children’s home . Allister was instantly attached to them, so the caretakers allowed him to catch them, and keep them as his companions . Still rather shaken from the event, Allister began donning masks on his face to help with his anxieties . He went through many different styles, but eventually settled on a pale circular mask with two circular holes for the eyes, and one for the mouth .After obtaining his first pokemon, he and the people around him discovered something none of them expected . Allister was naturally gifted at pokemon battles . Even as a small child with only three Gastly, he could defeat much older opponents in battle . He had a strong connection with the ghosts he chose to train, and a keen eye for strategy . Pokemon battles became Allister’s comfort, and his escape from all of the negative feelings he had . The only time he seemed to show real confidence and have real fun was when he was battling . Even with his natural talent, he was determined to train hard, investing everything he had in the hobby . After gaining several team members, evolving two of his Gastly, and training, it became more than a hobby .At the age of eleven, he was already known around Galar through rumors and whispers . There were tales floating around of a mysterious child with a team of ghosts that seemed able to defeat even trained adults in pokemon battles . The stories eventually reached the ears of the chairman of the pokemon league . After much searching, the chairman found Allister and confirmed the rumors of his skill in battle . Allister was initially hesitant to apply to become a gym leader . While he adored the rush of battle, and he always dreamed of making it his career, he was afraid of the crowds and the attention . Even though he’d tried to work on it, he was just as timid and anxious as he was since the day he was born .After much convincing, and a televised battle to prove himself, Allister accepted the position of Galar’s newest ghost-type gym leader . At age eleven, he was by far the youngest gym leader Galar had seen . Becoming a gym leader proved to be a great thing for Allister . He gained a massive amount of support from his fellow gym leaders, many of which he befriended quickly . He even made enough money to leave the children’s home and live on his own ( despite the fact that he was encouraged to stay where he could be taken care of by adults ) . And best of all, he was able to do his favorite thing every day with his beloved ghost-types .Though he still has a lot of social anxiety, and sometimes battling in front of massive crowds is hard, Allister found stability and happiness through leading a gym . He still feels he has much to work on, and still an entire life ahead of him, but he is deeply glad he chose to pursue the life he did .
TEAM.(G-Max) Gengar [partner pokemon] - Male - Held item: black sludge - Ability: cursed bodymoves :-shadow ball-sludge bomb-dark pulse-hypnosissummary : allister’s best friend and partner pokemon, gengar can be rather pushy and mischievous . gengar is always pushing allister out of his comfort zone, whether getting him to pull pranks or encouraging him to socialize . gengar has known allister the longest ( along with allister’s haunter and gastly ) and is arguably allister’s strongest pokemon . gengar is almost like a parental figure to allister, taking care of him emotionally and physically, protecting him, and even carrying him around .-----Dusknoir (Socket) - Male - Held item: none - Ability: pressuremoves :-shadow punch-fire punch-ice punch-disablesummary : the protective tough guy of allister’s pokemon, socket is almost always in the mood for a confrontation . hot headed and not one to let his trainer be mistreated, socket is the first to become aggressive when his trainer is in distress . when not looking for a fight, socket keeps his distance with anyone except allister, who is seemingly the only one who can bring out the gentleness behind the aggression in socket .-----Chandelure (Lucifer) - Male - Held item: charcoal - Ability: flash firemoves :-shadow ball-heat wave-energy ball-will-o-wispsummary : lucifer is very calm and collected, always there for his trainer when he needs some silent guidance . lucifer is very reliable, always there to provide light and warmth . for a ghost type, he usually doesn’t partake in pranks like the others do, giving everyone the impression that he’s more mature than some of allister’s other pokemon .-----Cursola (Sheer) - Male - Held item: none - Ability: weak armormoves :-hex-strength sap-ancient power-amnesiasummary : sheer is the most timid of allister’s pokemon, much like his trainer, he prefers to avoid any strangers when possible . however, sheer is quite cheerful with allister and is happy to put aside his fears to make his trainer proud .-----Mimikyu - Male - Held item: none - Ability: disguisemoves :-shadow sneak-baby-doll eyes-hone claws-slashsummary : mimikyu is by far the most cheerful and bubbly of allister’s pokemon . mimikyu is affectionate, outgoing, and upbeat . he is always searching for affection and attention from other people, especially allister . as sweet as mimikyu can be, he also tends to pull pranks and become jealous easily when allister’s attention is taken away .-----

Ability : Wandering spiritmoves :- earthquake- shadow claw- disable- rock tomb-----NON-BATTLE POKEMON.Gastly - Male - Held item : none - Ability : levitatesummary : one of the three gastly that has known allister since he was four, gastly has not evolved since encountering allister . gastly enjoys pranks and scaring people the most out of all of allister’s pokemon . sometimes his pranks can get out of hand, and allister has to clean up the mess, but at the end of the day, gastly would do anything to stay by his trainer’s side .-----Haunter - Male - Held item : none - Ability : levitatesummary : one of the pokemon that met allister when he was young, haunter acts almost like an older brother to allister . protective and caring, but can pick on his trainer a bit and get him into trouble sometimes . still, when all is said and done, haunter would never do anything to purposely hurt allister .
